Madurai: Fire breaks out at jewelery shop – one killed

There is a jewelery shop on Madurai South Masi road. Owner Dakshinamurthy and the employees were doing business in this shop last night. Motilal (age 45) is the son-in-law of the shop owner. He was also in the shop yesterday.

In this case, a terrible fire broke out on the first floor of the jewelery store at around 8 pm yesterday. Seeing this, Motilal rushed to the first floor to put out the fire. Motilal could not go downstairs as the fire spread rapidly.Meanwhile, the store owner and employees ran out of the store as the fire spread rapidly.

However, Motilal was trapped on the first floor of the jewelery store and the fire brigade rushed to the spot after being informed about the fire.

Firefighters entered the shop to rescue Motilal, who was trapped inside the jewelery shop after the fire was brought under control. The rescue team found Motilal unconscious in a room inside the shop and rescued him and took him to a nearby hospital.

Doctors who examined Motilal said that he was already dead. The police have registered a case and are investigating the incident. Preliminary information has been released that the fire occurred due to electrical leakage.
