Northeast monsoon: Control room setup by police

In this situation, a control room has been set up by the Tamil Nadu Police for the North East Monsoon emergency. 18 Disaster Response Teams with 540 personnel are on standby due to monsoon reverberations.

540 people are on standby at the rate of 30 in each State Disaster Response Team. 3 disaster recovery teams have been rushed to Manimuthar, Coimbatore, Palani and Avadi.
