China Masters Badminton tournament is going on in Shinchen city there. In one of the 2nd round matches of the Men’s Singles held yesterday, World Championship bronze medalist HS Pranai of India 21-12, 21-18. He advanced to the quarter-finals by defeating Denmark’s Magnus Johansen in straight sets.

World No. 8 Pranai will face Japan’s Summer Naroka in the quarter-finals. Similarly in the men’s doubles 2nd round, Asian Games champion Satviksairaj Rangi of India. The Rangi Reddy-Chirak Shetty pair ousted Japan’s Akira Koke-Taisi Saito in straight sets 21-15, 21-16 to enter the quarter-finals.

In the quarter-finals, the Chadwick-Chirag duo meet Indonesia’s Leo Rolli-Daniel Martin pair.
