The Men’s World Cup football series is scheduled to be held in 2026. 36 teams have participated in the 2nd round of the Asian Zone qualifiers. They are divided into 9 divisions and compete against each other twice in the league. At the end of this, the top 2 teams in each division will advance to the 3rd round. Round 2 matches are held in different countries.
India has been placed in Group ‘A’ along with Qatar, Kuwait and Afghanistan. In this case, the Indian team is going to face Kuwait in the first league match today in Kuwait City.
