“Due to the change in wind speed of the easterly winds, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunderstorms in a few places in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal tomorrow (02.08.2023) and today (01.08.2023).
From 03.08.2023 to 07.08.2023: Light to moderate rain with thunderstorms is likely to occur in a few places in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal.On 01.08.2023 and 02.08.2023: In some places in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal, the maximum temperature can range from 38 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius. In some areas, the temperature may increase by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius from the usual. During periods of high temperature and high humidity, there may be discomfort due to heat stress.
In Chennai and other suburban areas, the sky will be partly cloudy for the next 48 hours. Light rain is possible in some parts of the city. The maximum temperature will be around 37-38 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature will be around 28-29 degrees Celsius.
