A college student was injured when a truck collided with a motorcycle.
Arun (age 18), who is studying in the second year of a private college operating in Villapakkam next to Thimiri in Ranipet district, yesterday he went to the college on a motorcycle from Sipkot area.
Then a lorry carrying granite hit him and injured him.The granite stones from the lorry fell on the road causing traffic to be disrupted for a while.Timiri sub-inspector Arunkumar and policemens Vijayakumar, Silambarasan, Manikandan removed the stones that had fallen on the road with a crane and cleared the traffic.
The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
