The morning meal program initiated by the Chief Minister was officially launched throughout the state today.
Accordingly, this program, led by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, was inaugurated by philanthropist Kanimozhi at the Government Girls’ High School in Thoothukudi Sorisapuram, an elected panchayat union. The breakfast program in this school includes upma and kesari.
Philanthropist Kanimozhi, who transformed food for students, continued to share meals with them.
A total of 125 students benefited in this school. Across the district, a total of 18,819 students are beneficiaries in government and aided schools that receive government assistance, totaling 524 schools.
During the inaugural event, District Collector K. Senthilraj, Mayor Jegann Periyasamy, MLA Shanmugaiya Sathiyaraja, Corporation Councilor Chandramukhi Saravanan, Program Director (Girl Child Program) Veera Putthiran, and many other dignitaries participated.
