Due to maintenance work on the overhead lines at Chennai Central and Arakkonam section, suburban train services will be suspended today (Wednesday) from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM. As an alternative, special train services have been arranged for passengers.
Accordingly, today, at 8:20 AM, there will be a special train from Chennai Central to Katpadi, at 9:10 AM to Tiruvallur, at 10:00 AM to Tiruvallur, at 10:25 AM from Katpadi to Chennai Central, at 11:00 AM from Chennai Central to Katpadi, at 11:10 AM from Tiruvallur to Chennai Central, at 11:35 AM from Katpadi to Chennai Central, at 12:35 PM from Tiruvallur to Chennai Central, and at 1:25 PM from Katpadi to Chennai Central, serving the intermediate stations.
Furthermore, due to maintenance work on the overhead lines, today at 11:45 PM, the entire suburban train service between Chennai Central and Avadi is suspended. As an alternative, at 11:30 PM, passengers traveling from Chennai Central to Avadi can avail special train services. Similarly, on September 7th and 8th, overnight at 12:15 AM, the entire suburban train service between Chennai Central and Avadi will be suspended.
