Deep depression to intensify into depression in next 6 hours

Heavy rains are lashing various parts of Tamil Nadu.

A deep depression has formed over Southeast Bay of Bengal. This deep depression is likely to strengthen into a depression in the next 6 hours.

Also, this low pressure area will move in west-northwest direction and create a deep depression over the central West Bay of Bengal.The Meteorological Center has said that it will strengthen regionally.

Due to this, heavy rain is likely to occur in various parts of Tamil Nadu, according to the Meteorological Department.
