The counseling for undergraduate medical courses starts today.
In Tamil Nadu, the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) is conducting the counseling for 50% seats in government medical colleges and seats allotted to state government by self-financing medical colleges, and seats surrendered for All India Quota in medical colleges.
The online application process for the 2023-2024 academic year counseling for MBBS, BDS, D Pharm, and D Pharm S courses, for state quota seats, commenced on the 6th of last month and concluded on the 17th.
After counseling, a total of 7,526 applications were received for government quota seats for MBBS, BDS, D Pharm, and D Pharm S courses, and 3,036 applications were received for All India Quota seats. For government quota seats in D Pharm S courses, 661 applications were received, and 336 applications were received for All India Quota seats. The list of selected candidates from the received applications has been published.
In this situation, the counseling for undergraduate medical courses, Department of Health and Family Welfare, is set to begin today (Monday) on the website https://mcc.nic.in.
