Northeast Monsoon has intensified in Tamil Nadu. Due to this, there is widespread rainfall in most of the districts.Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu is likely to receive heavy rain for the next 2 days, according to the Chennai Meteorological Department.
In this situation, the Meteorological Department has informed that there is a possibility of rain in 19 districts of Tamil Nadu in the next 3 hours. Accordingly, Mayiladuthurai, Nagai, Sivagangai, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Ramanathapuram, Perambalur, Tanjore, Tiruvarur, Pudukottai, Thiruvallur, Ranipet, Chennai, Kanchipuram, Thiruvannamalai, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Cuddalore and Thoothukudi districts are expected to receive light to moderate rains.
