In the Tirupati hill path, yet another leopard has been caught. Devotees who visit the Seven Hills Temple in Tirupati, Alipiri, and Srivari Mettu hill paths go on a pilgrimage to have the darshan of the deity. Due to the presence of Alipiri dense forest area, which devotees pass through, wild animals often come close to the pedestrian path, leading to a careful walkway for the animals. On the morning of last friday, a six-year-old girl was attacked and killed by a leopard. Forest department officials, responding swiftly, managed to trap and capture the leopard, which was responsible for the attack. The incident has prompted the wildlife officials to intensify their efforts in capturing the leopards that pose a threat to the public. In order to capture the leopard that had been preying on livestock, the forest officials near the Tirupati hill path set up three traps. In one of these traps, the leopard that had attacked and killed a girl three days ago was caught. The captured leopard was then taken to a forest area. In this situation, within the Tirupati hill path, forest officials have captured yet another leopard in a trap. A leopard has also been trapped in a cage placed near the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple. Authorities are taking steps to relocate the captured leopard to a forest area. In the past 50 days, three leopards have been trapped and captured.
