Ashoka Ambedkar Dhamma Yatrai started from Kerala on 30th of last month to promote peace, brotherhood and peace in the world.
An idol of Ashoka is installed in this chariot.
It will pass through 6 states including Kerala and Tamil Nadu and will end in Maratha on 21st.
The Ratha Yatra vehicle reached Vellore yesterday, where public and party members met the Yatra group near the statue of Sathuvachari Ambedkar.They garlanded and showered flowers on the statue of Ashoka in the welcome vehicle.
Then the Buddhist monks sang and prayed to God and all the public, with brotherhood to all,they gave advice to live peacefully.
All those who attended were given a picture of Ashoka and pamphlets on his history.
