A special veterinary treatment camp was held at Mettukudisai village.
In Mettukudisai village under Varakur panchayat next to Timiri Cattle health by Animal Husbandry Department and a special awareness camp was held yesterday.Collector Varamathi presided over and inaugurated the camp.
480 cattle in the camp were treated for temporary sterilization, vaccination, insemination,A variety of medical treatments including pelvic examination, deworming, surgery, and vasectomy are provided.Vaccinations, nutraceuticals, deworming drugs were administered.
Also, the Collector gave away prizes to the owners of the best Kitari calves and visited a forum on food management.Like this camp, 140 camps of 20 camps each in 7 panchayat unions in the district are to be held by February 2024.
