The Meteorological Department had said that light to moderate rain may occur at a few places in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal from today (Tuesday) to the 17th due to the variation in the speed of the westerly winds.
In this situation, the Meteorological Department has informed that there is a possibility of moderate rain in 6 districts in Tamil Nadu within the next 3 hours.
Accordingly, light to moderate rains are expected in Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Kanyakumari, Nellai and Tenkasi districts.
