When traveling on airplanes, some people prefer to travel with their family and carry toys. Some play with their children. The children’s laughter and questions fill the environment at times.
This kind of atmosphere, aimed at providing a peaceful and comfortable journey, is present for those who wish. At certain times, this has led to conflicts and disputes.
Therefore, for individuals who travel alone without their families and wish to have a child-free environment, “Corundan Airlines” offers a section labeled as “for adults only” on airplanes, aiming to maintain an atmosphere that does not disrupt the tranquility of adults traveling.
Desiring an environment without the disturbance of children, “Corundan Airlines” has introduced an initiative to allocate separate sections for travelers above the age of 16 and those who prefer to travel alone. Under this program, certain rows in Airbus A350 planes are designated for passengers who are adults.
This feature will be implemented starting from November on flights operating between Amsterdam and Dutch Caribbean islands of Curacao and Aruba.
This section within the airplane, intended for passengers who wish to travel without children and also for those who seek a peaceful environment to focus on their tasks, has been designated by the airline to cater to passengers’ desire for a serene atmosphere.
In the front section of the airplane, these rows are designated. There are 94 standard rows and 9 extra-legroom rows in this section. In this segment as well as in other sections, seats and privacy screens will be arranged. For the “adult-only” rows, an additional charge of 45 euros (Rs. 4,050) is required. Moreover, for the extra-legroom rows, an extra charge of 100 euros (Rs. 8,926) with a privileged seat fee is mandated by the airline.
