7 members of the same family from Mannar region of Sri Lanka have come to Dhanushkodi by boat.

Due to the economic crisis in Sri Lanka, many Sri Lankan Tamils ​​fled from there in small boats with their families for fear of danger at sea. They are traveling to Tamil Nadu as refugees.

In this situation, 7 people belonging to the same family came to Dhanushkodi by boat from Mannar area of ​​Sri Lanka at around 5 am today.

Marine police handed over all 7 of them who took shelter as refugees to Mandapam police station. The police are investigating them. After the investigation, it was revealed that the 7 Sri Lankan Tamils ​​were to be accommodated in the Mandapam camp
