Chief Minister M. K. Stalin had announced that Rs 6,000 will be given as relief to family card holders.
Due to the heavy rains in Thoothukudi and Nellai districts on the 17th and 18th, most of the areas were severely damaged by floods. On the orders of Chief Minister M.K.Stal, the Ministers, in flood repair work, relief work and survey work, Monitoring officers and high government officials are working together.
Chief Minister M.K.Stalin personally visited on 21st and expedited the work and released relief funds to the affected family card holders. Accordingly, for the family card holders of Nellai, Thoothukudi districts which have been severely affected by the floods. Announce that Rs.6 thousand each will be given as relief and Kanyakumari and Tenkasi district family cardholders will be given Rs.1,000 each.
In this situation, the work of giving token to provide relief fund of Rs.6,000 each to the people of Nellai district affected by heavy rain has started. Tokens are issued at places like Palayamgottai, Cheranmakadevi, Ambasamudram.
