Ropecar service at Palani Murugan temple will stop today

It has been announced by the temple administration that the ropecar service will be stopped today only for one day.

Palani, the 3rd of Lord Muruga’s Arupada houses, has ropecar and electric traction train services for pilgrims going to the hill temple. It is usual for the ropecar to be stopped for maintenance work for one hour every day, one day in a month and one month in a year.

Accordingly, the maintenance work for this month is taking place today (Wednesday). On this occasion, the temple administration has announced that the ropecar service will be stopped for one day only. So to appeal to the devotees that they can go to the mountain temple and have darshan of Lord Muruga either by electric traction train or by footpath.
