Southern Railway has announced that 58 electric trains will be canceled on the Chennai Central – Arakkonam route tomorrow due to maintenance work.
A press release issued by Southern Railway said:-
Due to maintenance work at Pattabram and Ambattur railway stations on Chennai Central – Arakkonam route.8 trains will be canceled today (Saturday) and 58 electric trains tomorrow (Sunday).
An electric train from Chennai Moormarket to Arakkonam will leave at 10.45pm tonight and return from Arakkonam at 10.50pm. 10.20pm, 11.45pm departure from Moormarket to Avadi, 11.15pm departure from Moormarket to Tiruvallur. The 11.55 pm train from Moormarket to Pattabram is also canceled today.
A special train will be run from Moormarket to Arakkonam at 11.15 pm for the convenience of passengers.
