The air quality index in Delhi has been deteriorating significantly for the past few weeks. To control this, a review meeting led by Environment Minister Gopal Rai was held at the Delhi Secretariat yesterday.
In this meeting, the increasing level of air pollution in Delhi and the implementation of action plans to prevent it were discussed.
Meanwhile, all government and private primary schools have been closed for 2 days in view of increasing air pollution in Delhi, Chief Minister Kejriwal announced. Accordingly, a holiday has been given to primary schools in Delhi today and tomorrow.
