India defeated China 2-1 in the Women’s Asian Champions League.
The 7th Asian Champions Trophy for Women is underway in Ranchi, Jharkhand.The current champion Japan, 3-time champion South Korea, former champion India and 6 teams from China, Malaysia and Thailand participated in this.
In last night’s league match, India defeated Asian Games champion China 2-1 and reached the semi-finals. Deepika and Salima scored a goal on behalf of the Indian team.
It was a ‘hat-trick’ win for India. It is noteworthy that Thailand had already won Malaysia.
